This time, let's briefly talk about the hydraulic micro power unit at the top. Sometimes it is also called a hydraulic power pack.

Select an appropriate micro power unit based on the time it takes for the valve to open and close. The main parameters are the calculation and selection of motor power and pump displacement.

Example: Calculated based on a 2000 Nm actuator from Qunmei Electromechanical. The following screenshot.

 

Assuming that the time required for opening and closing is 10 seconds, the flow requirement for fully opening this actuator is 274 milliliters, as shown in the screenshot below. The demand per minute of pump output (274/10) * 60=1644 milliliters per minute.

Based on this flow demand, combined with motor voltage and speed, the pump displacement can be determined. Assuming a pump voltage of 24VDC and a maximum speed of 2000RPM Calculate the displacement of the demand pump to be 0.822 milliliters. We can choose a 1 milliliter pump as the power source. After selecting the pump, select the power of the pump to meet the requirements based on the required pressure of the system. Assuming the system pressure demand is 150Bar, the calculated motor power is 523W. Select a motor with a power of 600W.

Generally speaking, customers only need to provide opening and closing time, opening and closing torque, motor voltage, etc. The manufacturer will select matching parameters for the corresponding project.

One emergency measure is to integrate a manual pump on the system integration block to respond to the power unit manually supplying oil sources and opening or closing valves in case of no electricity emergency; Another measure is to install emergency oil ports and rely on external hydraulic sources to input hydraulic oil to open or close valves.

If the pump requirements for the above calculations are already clear, the power unit of the requirements can be directly selected.

For example, assuming that the pump requires a maximum flow rate of 0.7 liters per minute and a voltage of 12VDC, a PU-25-12 power unit can be selected based on the sample.
